Power-Dependent PL

Overview

Power-dependent photoluminescence of quantum dots: one atomic step per half-wave-plate angle — rotate the K10CR1 stage, which sets the excitation power, then acquire a spectrometer row, optionally together with a simultaneous powermeter reading so every row carries the power it was measured at. Runs are journaled row by row and resume at the exact angle they stopped.

The product is the power series itself; quantities derived from it belong to an analyzer that consumes these runs.

Where to go

  • Running the experiment — installation, setup.yaml and .env, starting and resuming a sweep.

  • Configuration — every parameter an operator adapts per experiment, with defaults, including the spectra-only mode.

  • Watching a run — the live monitor and the offscreen video render.

  • Architecture — how the rig composite and the experiment plan are built, and what lands on disk.
